If you are experiencing any of the following injuries or ailments, you must see our dentists immediately:

  • A chipped tooth
  • A permanent tooth that has been knocked out of place or fallen out entirely
  • Severe toothache
  • Fillings that have fallen out
  • Excessive or abnormal bleeding

How do you prepare for an urgent dental care?

Especially for teeth that have been knocked out, you must see a dentist within 30 minutes of the injury. Time is a critical factor in saving the tooth, and attaching it to the jaw bone.

If a permanent tooth has fallen out:

  • Do not hold the tooth by the root (try to only touch the top/crown)
  • Clean the tooth with water, if necessary, but do not handle excessively
  • Try to reinsert it in the socket. Hold the tooth in place with sterile gauze where possible
  • If you cannot reinsert the tooth, transport the tooth in a cup containing milk
  • See a dentist immediately
