How do you prepare for an urgent dental care?

Especially for teeth that have been knocked out, you must see a dentist within 30 minutes of the injury. Time is a critical factor in saving the tooth, and attaching it to the jaw bone.
If a permanent tooth has fallen out:

Do not hold the tooth by the root (try to only touch the top/crown)
Clean the tooth with water, if necessary, but do not handle excessively
Try to reinsert it in the socket. Hold the tooth in place with sterile gauze where possible
If you cannot reinsert the tooth, transport the tooth in a cup containing milk
